REGISTRATION CHECKLIST

Are you responsible for registering a team for Generation Handball? Use this checklist to make sure everything is in place!  Be prepared by following each step below, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions along the way. 

Spread the word in the club

  • Confirm interest from players in the club.
  • Request brochures, videos, or other promo material if needed.
  • Arrange a club visit from Generation Handball for a presentation (optional).

Team overview

  • Confirm the number of teams participating (minimum 8 players per team).
  • Register all teams on the sign-up page.
  • Register by 1 Dec for -50% early bird discount on team fees.
  • Check if a visa is required (applications open 3 months before the festival).
  • Request an invitation letter (send team list and passport details).

Accommodation and final registration

  • Explore external funding if needed.
  • Select an accommodation package.
  • Confirm the total number of participants.
  • Request separate rooms for men/women if needed.
  • Specify arrival and departure dates (check if extra nights or meals are required).
  • Inform us if you plan a longer stay in Denmark.
  • Notify us of any dietary requirements (allergies, etc.).
  • Book additional accommodation for family or friends visiting Viborg (camping or hotel).

Team activities

  • Book indoor court time for early arrival or late departure.
  • Register for beach handball through the registration site.
  • Sign up for coaches’ get-together "Friendship Night" on the registration site.
  • Purchase tickets and arrange transportation for Djurs Sommerland.
  • Check for additional activities (e.g., canoe trip) and book if interested.
